26 मार्च। एसजेवीएन के अध्यक्ष एवं प्रबंध निदेशक भूपेंद्र गुप्ता ने एसजेवीएन द्वारा आयोजित 25वें आंतर-सीपीएसयू कबड्डी टूर्नामेंट की विजेता टीम बीबीएमबी को हार्दिक बधाई दी। गुप्ता ने सभी प्रतिभागियों के उत्कृष्ट प्रदर्शन की सराहना करते हुए कर्मचारियों के मध्य टीम वर्क, अनुशासन और स्वस्थ प्रतिस्पर्धा की भावना को सुदृढ़ करने में खेलों के महत्व पर प्रकाश डाला।
अजय कुमार शर्मा, निदेशक (कार्मिक), एसजेवीएन ने मुख्य अतिथि के रूप में टूर्नामेंट के समापन समारोह की शोभा बढ़ाई। शर्मा ने टूर्नामेंट के सफल आयोजन के लिए आयोजकों को बधाई दी, और साथ ही विजेताओं तथा सभी प्रतिभागी टीमों को भी बधाई दी।
शर्मा ने कहा कि एसजेवीएन सदैव खेलों को बढ़ावा देने तथा खिलाड़ियों को प्रोत्साहित करने के लिए प्रतिबद्ध रहा है।
एसजेवीएन का दृढ़ विश्वास है कि खेल न केवल कर्मचारियों के शारीरिक स्वास्थ्य को सुदृढ़ करते हैं, अपितु उनके मानसिक स्वास्थ्य एवं नेतृत्व क्षमताओं को भी बेहतर बनाते हैं, जो किसी भी संगठन की सफलता के लिए अतिआवश्यक हैं। इस प्रकार के आयोजन भारत सरकार की ‘खेलो इंडिया’ और ‘फिट इंडिया मूवमेंट’ जैसी पहलों को सहयोग देने में महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका निभाते हैं।
अजय कुमार शर्मा ने विजेता तथा उप-विजेता टीमों को ट्रॉफियां, पदक और प्रमाण-पत्र प्रदान किए। फाइनल मैच एसजेवीएन और बीबीएमबी के मध्य खेला गया, जिसमें बीबीएमबी टूर्नामेंट का विजेता बना। एसजेवीएन ने प्रथम उप-विजेता का स्थान हासिल किया, जबकि टूर्नामेंट का द्वितीय उप-विजेता पीजीसीआईएल बना। बीबीएमबी से आकाश को ‘प्लेयर ऑफ़ द टूर्नामेंट’ घोषित किया गया, एसजेवीएन से विक्रम शर्मा को ‘सर्वश्रेष्ठ रेडर’ का पुरस्कार प्रदान किया गया और बीबीएमबी से सुरेंदर सिंह को ‘सर्वश्रेष्ठ डिफेंडर’ का पुरस्कार दिया गया। इन्हें मुख्य अतिथि द्वारा सम्मानित किया गया।
इस अवसर पर, रामपुर एचपीएस के परियोजना प्रमुख, विकास मारवाह, एनजेएचपीएस के परियोजना प्रमुख, राजीव कपूर तथा एलएचईपी-1 के परियोजना प्रमुख, विवेक शर्मा के साथ-साथ आरएचपीएस, एनजेएचपीएस तथा एलएचईपी-1 के वरिष्ठ अधिकारी उपस्थित रहे।
पावर स्पोर्ट्स कंट्रोल बोर्ड के तत्वावधान में एसजेवीएन द्वारा अपने 412 मेगावाट आरएचपीएस में तीन-दिवसीय आंतर-सीपीएसयू कबड्डी टूर्नामेंट आयोजित किया गया और इसमें विद्युत मंत्रालय, सीईए, बीबीएमबी, एनएचपीसी, पीजीसीआईएल, आरईसी, टीएचडीसी तथा मेजबान टीम एसजेवीएन की ओर से उत्साहपूर्ण भागीदारी रही।
